what screen grab program do we use on this website...I remember someone say one way back but I cant for life of me remember it

Well I was a life member on here before the site crashed..... When I did the site reviews I used a program that some on this site told me to used and it was the amazing......but since my  computer crashed I can't remember the program I used. so I was wounding what program they use on here now to do a screen capture of sites.

just install the extension to the browser, it works like a charm.

You can also use windows 7 free tool ( snniping tool ) works fine too .

Shutter works for Linux as well. Puush works well for small screen grabs too.

Why install anything for screenshots? If you need to do more editing than their editor allows you should probably be using photoshop or something anyways.

Windows has a built-in one, its called the Snipping tool and resides in your accessoiries folder

I use the snipping tool that everyone is mentioning above.  You can also simply do a "print screen" which is usually on your keyboard.

windows built in: ctrl-print (complet desktop) or alt-print (current window) ... then paste into paint.
