Hello!

Just a quick word to thank you all for your patience during the downtimes over the past few weeks.
 
We hope that the site will now remain stable, but unfortunately we cannot offer any guarantees, as the cause of the outages is DDoS attacks, which tend not to just go away.
At times these attacks are directed at our hosts, but at others they seem to be directed at us specifically.  It is hard to be certain which it is at times, but the result is the same.  
We are in constant communication with the hosts, and they are doing their very best to control the situation, but when millions of connection attempts flood in with each DDoS attack, Cloudflare kicks in to stop them getting through, and that is that.

Quite a few people have suggested changing hosts, and that is certainly something that we have been, and continue to look into as a solution.  However, moving again would cause an enormous amount of disruption to the site,  with no guarantee against further problems down the line, so it is only something that we will do as an absolute last resort.  

For those who have not already joined the Discord chat server, we urge you to do so.  
Even if you are not a chatter, it is worth joining and bookmarking the page, so that you can keep informed should the site be unavailable.  Updates are posted more regularly there than on Facebook (which is only monitored during daytime hours).

If you have already joined the Discord server, and have yet to have your account validated (via a personal message with LL), then please get in touch, either here on-site, or on Discord itself.  Validation is necessary in order to see the chat room, and there are still around 40 members who have joined and are still stuck in the welcome (waiting) room.
