A brief word about the Covid19 situation for our members.

There is some bad news today.
Eastenders and several other UK shows have announced that they have suspended filming. We expect other currently filming shows to follow shortly. I would not normally post a link from the dreaded Mail, but it does give the relevent info so here it is

In the case of EE and other soaps filming is usually several weeks ahead of broadcast so the impact will not be immediate, other than that there will be fewer episodes per week in order to spin it out as long as possible. Popular daily shows however may be more dramatically cut and shows scheduled for filming will obviously be postponed or cancelled.

TVC will of course be doing our best to fill in the gaps by continuing to source as much new content is available, as well as adding to our back catalogue of classic and hard to find TV shows.
Assuming that the entire staff is not stuck down there should be no disruption to the service (other than the usual brief downtimes for updates etc.)
We realise that many of you will be stuck at home so will need more shows than ever before...we will do our best not to let you down!

On a personal note:
As some of you know, I am under strict lockdown now. It is a pain in the arse, but it has to be done in order to slow and eventually halt the spread of this virus. Washing hands and "social distancing" is all well and good, but not even close to being enough, as we are now painfully aware.
Whatever your country, please stay safe...don't travel, don't get close to others and if it is at all possible stay at home and wait it out!
