uTorrent announcement

uTorrent 3.x will be removed from the whitelist indefinitely. A serious security exploit has been found that can easily allow a remote attacker to steal passkeys, peer information, or even download things to the remote computer. AHD site and user security are paramount, so please switch to an alternate client in order to keep seeding. uTorrent 3.x will remain a disallowed client up until it has been provably patched and secured and staff are certain it no longer poses a security risk. For now, uTorrent 1.8.x and 2.x will fleetingly stay on the whitlelist. However, if using these versions, it is imperative that you minimize the attack vector. To do this, set the net.discoverable advanced option to "False", disable WebUI, and restart your client. However, given uTorrent's less-than-stellar history of releasing a secure product, these versions may also be disallowed in the future. It would be prudent for any users using these versions of uTorrent now to migrate their data to an alternate client soon.
