Google isn’t bringing its apps to Windows 10 or Windows 10 Mobile, but fortunately, there are developers out there who find ways to create alternative clients that connect to the most popular services, including Google Play Music.

GMusic is one of the top solutions for Windows phones, and starting today, it’s available as a universal app for Windows 10, so it works on both PCs and mobile devices.

It’s worth saying from the very beginning that the app isn’t offered free of charge, but with a $4.99 fee in the United States (European pricing depends on market). It comes with the same great feature package, but it works on more Windows 10 devices with the same look and feel.

The app allows to search and listen to music tracks on Google Play Music, sort music by track, album or artist, view album covers and artist photos, follow the popular trends in music section sections shortcuts, such as top albums, new, recommended, similar, and top tracks.

You can also cache tracks, listen to the radio, move songs in different albums, and search for songs in your library to quickly listen to a specific track that you like.

GMusic has survived Google’s anti-Windows craze so far, and it still works like on day one, so the chances are that it will be around for a little bit longer, so if you do want to access Google Play Music on Windows 10, this is pretty much the best option.
