The International Goat Conspiracy

 

Well holy shit. Here we fucking go!

 

As most everyone knows, our beloved leader is becoming a family man with real responsibilities, a blossoming record label, and a nice strong IPA habit. So he's decided to pass the torch on down. Most of us here have seen 'transitional phases' on Kray before, heres hoping this time around its a much smoother process.

 

The hope is for Kraytracker to become a collective partnership. Or just call it a collective if that makes it sound more punx to you. Myself, Rundevil and Redbrigade have become the first three new 'owners' of the site. Our hope is to work together to figure out the best ways to actively run Kray, and also make improvements. This will all become easier with more hands on deck.

 

We're looking for a few things right away, the first being more people to join in on our Collective Ownership. This of course would be a financial commitment every month. Though each additional person brings the individual cost down for for everyone, so that is a nice incentive. Since we do want to make Kray better, we're looking for at least a year commitment. This should keep us all actively working on the site. So if you think you might pull a Yesse and go off the grid to hop trains or cook meth, maybe hold off on signing up.

 

Most importantly though, we NEED MORE people to help out on the Developer side of things. I can't code worth shit, and Redbrigade has been mostly on his own in maintaining the actual architecture and server stuff. If you've got any 1337 sKiLLz and want to help out, please reach out to the staff. Redbrigade is definitely the man to talk to about this stuff, he's the most well versed in what issues we have to fix and what the stumbling blocks in our way are.

 

Basically, if you wanna help out, or even just have some ideas to float, now is the time. After 9 years of being on Kray, its a bit crazy to 'have the keys', so to speak. I'm excited to work towards making this place great like it should be. Enough of us have downloaded our favorite records here, had memorable discussions in the forums and even met some real awesome folks in the offline world through the site. I think most of us can agree that this site has been special and important over the years, so lets keep it going.
