DECISION no. 24 of 14.05.2020 on the approval of the establishment of the state of alert at national level and of the measures for prevention and control of infections, in the context of the epidemiological situation generated by the SARS CoV-2 virus

Art.1 - Starting with 15.05.2020, the State of Alert is declared at national level, for a period of 30 days.
Art.2 - The measures for the prevention and control of infections, applicable during the alert state, are provided in the annex, which is an integral part of this decision.
Art.3 - The rules for carrying out activities that require specific health protection measures shall be adopted by joint order of the Minister of Health and the Minister of Health.

Art.4 - For other measures than those provided in art. 3, necessary for the fulfillment of the present decision, the central and local public administration authorities issue
normative acts and administrative acts, according to the norms of competence and the fields of activity they manage.
Art.5 - In applying the provisions of art. 7 1 of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 11/2020, on emergency medical stocks, as well as some measures related to the establishment of quarantine, approved with amendments and completions by Law 20/2020, with subsequent amendments and completions, and GD no. 557/2016 on risk type management, the secretary of State, head of the Department for Emergency Situations within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, orders, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, by order of the action commander, the necessary measures to prevent and combat SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections, in response to national level.
Art.5 - This Decision is published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I.
