Kingdom Come: Deliverance will not have Denuvo anti-piracy protection or a season pass. Developers Warhorse Studios confirmed the two decisions in the past week.

The decision not to include Denuvo, the controversial anti-piracy software attached to Assassin’s Creed Origins and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, was revealed in a comment beneath a new video posted yesterday. One fan asked “will this game have Denuvo? I’m afraid of the performance impact,” to which a Warhorse spokesperson replied simply “No Denuvo!”

Elsewhere, the studio were recently asked via Twitter whether the game would be accompanied by a DLC or season pass. The studio replied saying that there was “no season pass in plan,” but didn’t comment on the existence of any DLC. That news accompanies the announcement in December 2017 that “there are no microtransactions” in the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance releases on February 13..
