Mediainfo Updates - 2017-12-22


To all Uploaders: please update immediately to a current version of Mediainfo. Very old versions of mediainfo (pre-2014) are still being used by many of you, but these versions can't display the correct details for modern files. A version from 2014 is the default on many older Linux installs, so if your seedbox provider won't update it for you then install it yourself in your local directory.


- For all files: old versions of mediainfo can't display the bitrate if there are 2 or more VBR streams.
- For HEVC content: old versions display almost no details at all for the video stream. x265, colour space and HDR details are all missing and they need to be included.


Going forward, HEVC uploads with bad mediainfo will be nuked outright.
