Will Game of Thrones season 7, episode 7 leak?

AFTER Game of Thrones season 7, episode 6 leaked four days early, rabid fans are eager to find out what will happen next. Here is everything you need to know about the season finale and how you can watch it.

Will Game of Thrones season 7, episode 7 leak?

Season seven has been the least watertight run of Game of Thrones to date.

After episode four was leaked, hackers shared the episode five script ahead of its air date.

Rather than doubling down on the leaks, HBO scored an own goal when its Spanish arm made episode six available online four days before it was due to air.

The US broadcaster is currently in the midst of a wider security problem.

Hackers have recently leaked new episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Insecure and Barry – the latter of which is not due to air until next year.

It isn’t known whether hackers also have the Game of Thrones season seven finale, however HBO has already said that it will not engage with the thieves.

“The hacker may continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information in an attempt to generate media attention,” it said in a statement.

“That is a game we are not going to participate in.”

When is Game of Thrones season 7, episode 7 released?

Episode seven, which is as-yet-untitled, will air on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV on Monday August 28 at 2am and again at 9pm.

Sky and NOW TV customers will be able to stream the finale as soon as it has aired.

What will happen in the season 7 finale?

Traditionally, showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss have put all of the action and drama into the penultimate episode of the season, with the finale serving as somewhat of a coda.

Season six’s ending broke the mould somewhat. After the epic Battle of the Bastards, The Winds of Winter opened with Cersei Lannister blowing up the Sept of Baelor and killing a good chunk of characters, including her daughter-in-law Margaery.

HOW ARE THE STARKS AND TARGARYENS RELATED?

Distraught, Tommen committed suicide, leaving the Iron Throne for his mother to assume.

Elsewhere, Jon Snow was proclaimed King in the North, Arya murdered Walder Frey and his sons, and Bran learned that Jon is actually the son of Lyanna Stark and – we presume – Rhaegar Targaryen.

The season seven finale – which clocks in at a feature-length 81 minutes – looks set to be another action and exposition-heavy instalment.

After all, there are only six more episodes left to follow it.

Warning – spoilers for season seven, episode six ahead.

After the Night King turned Viserion into a wight, expect the mother of dragons to be out for blood.

And now that she has proof that the White Walkers exist, Daenerys is ready to meet with Cersei.

Will the two queens negotiate a truce, or will the mourning Khaleesi use the opportunity to kill her rival and take the Iron Throne?

Jon has already received a loaded invitation to King’s Landing, but it seems likely that he could use his injuries as an excuse to skip the meeting and return home to Winterfell.

There, he will finally be reunited with his siblings Sansa, Arya and Bran.

Will Bran tell Jon the truth about his parentage? And after the numerous heavy hints, will we finally get confirmation that Jon is a Targaryen?

We’re expecting the finale to end with another game-changer, and with the Night’s King now in control of one of the dragons, could the White Walkers finally breach the Wall?

Fans will have to wait until the Game of Thrones season 7 finale airs on Monday August 28 to find out.
