Tigmanshu Dhulia directed Raag Desh has reportedly leaked online, and the movie is now available for download on several illegal and torrent websites. The free copy of the movie however said to be of average quality.

For the past few years, it has become a common practice in Bollywood that a movie is made available online just a day or two after it hits theaters. In many cases, the film appeared on Internet even before its official release. Many movies were leaked online immediately after release. This trend is definitely hurting the box office collection of Hindi movies.

Raag Desh, the latest victim of online piracy, is based on Indian freedom fight, was released on July 28, 2017. Raag Desh is a period drama that tells the story of Indian National Army and the Red Fort trails of 1945. The cast of the movie includes Kunal Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Amit Sadh, Kenneth Desai, Kenny Basumatary, Mrudula Murali, and Kanwaljit Singh. Raag Desh is a story of blood and gun shots, woven in the systematic environment of a courtroom but taking flight on the battlefield.

The movie shows its characters speaking languages like Punjabi, British, Japanese, Tamil, Bengali and Burmese. Basumatary plays the role of Netaji Bose with conviction. This story of revolt against the British glorifies war and murder, and also stirs nationalistic sentiments of the audience through dialogues and music.
