The torrent web site EliteTorrent closes forever after 13 years online.

The world of torrent downloads is again suffering a new loss and in this case is one of the most popular torrent websites in Spain: the administrators of Elite Torrent announce its closure .

EliteTorrent opened its doors in 2004 and since then it has been feeding thousands of thousands of torrent content, being one of the references for thousands of users looking for the latest news.

During the last days the web had suffered the blockade by some operators, in addition also has not freed in recent months of blocking by Google , as has happened with other large.

In the last hours EliteTorrent has closed definitively, returning error messages and has published a brief announcement announcing the end of the operations: " It has not been an easy decision, but after 13 years, the web Elitetorrent.net closes its doors. The administrator, @ morphoide , has confirmed this closing and also the birth of a new website, Eliteros.com.
