Attention All Users Uploading with Automated Scripts!


As of recently, a number of our users have been uploading with automated scripts. Although we are allowing this, you are still responsible for all of your uploads, even automated ones. You are responsible for ensuring that your upload's folder name, file names, and tags meet the site requirements. You are also responsible for ensuring that your upload is not a bad transcode. Be careful when using automated upload scripts or your account may lose torrent uploading privileges.


Regarding Invites
We have re-evaluated giving invites to users that have uploaded 15 torrents. Users that currently have invites will be able to keep them and use them. We are not giving out new invites for the time being. Remember, giving away invites in public is against the rules and may result in loss of invites or account. This includes giving away invites on Reddit via private subreddits or PMs. As well as giving away invites on public or private IRC channels. And of course, offering to trade or sell invites will result in a permanent ban.


Torrent Editing Requests
Post any torrent information mistakes in our Editing Forum. Do not delete your torrent because you made a mistake on the torrent page. We have a dedicated team of users who have graciously donated their time to fixing torrent information mistakes. Please refrain from requesting edits via staffpm or IRC, use the Editing Forum instead.


Am I allowed to upload this?
If you are unsure about whether the content that you want to upload is allowed on the site, request permission in this thread. It's better to be safe than sorry.


Problems with the Logchecker
We are aware that the logchecker is having problems. The log checker is not entirely implemented yet. Report problems that you are experiencing with the logcheck in this thread.

Welcome Our New Administrator
Saving the best for last, give a warm welcome to our new administrator, Atlas! Atlas has years of experience working as tracker staff, making them a great addition to the PTH administration. Their main duties will be account management, staff management, invite management, rules management, and lifting up things that are extremely heavy. Their primary objectives at this time will be updating the rules, managing suggestions and bugs, building the wiki, and account security.
