If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you probably don’t know that tomorrow is the end of the world, so we’re pretty sorry for you, pal, because you lived your last days under a rock when there was so much to do out there…

Now, we’re not going to discuss the reasons that will trigger the apocalypse, although most people seem to believe that the polar flip will happen on Friday (others claim that we’ll be invaded by aliens or demons who’ll eat our hearts out, but it doesn’t even matter, it’s the apocalypse, we don’t have time to discuss such things), but here’s one last thing that you could do before the end of the world: upgrade to Windows 10.

It’s like Microsoft knew (and that wouldn’t be such a huge surprise, given all the prediction engines that are being developed in Redmond nowadays): the end of the free upgrade offer for Windows 10 takes place on the same day as the end of the world. Coincidence? I think NOT!

Why upgrade since it’s the end of the world anyway?

Now, we know what you’re going to say. “Why should we upgrade if the end of the world is happening tomorrow anyway?” That’s one good question, but the answer is easier than you’d think.

You wouldn’t want aliens, or demons, or whoever discovers this planet after doomsday to think we were Neanderthals, would you? Because judging from OS stats and from how many people are still using Windows XP or even 95/98 these days, there are big chances they'd think we were retarded.

The upgrade to Windows 10 shouldn’t take too long, or at least that’s what Microsoft claims, but we do know that every second counts now since we don’t have too much time to live. Good thing the end of the world is coming, I had a dentist appointment on Friday…

And P.S.: if the world isn't ending tomorrow, it might happen sooner than we think. Donald Trump could be the next president of the US, Microsoft makes it impossible to disable Cortana in Windows 10, everyone's playing Pokemon Go...
