A new red-band trailer has landed online for The Gambler, in which John Goodman dispenses some words of wisdom in Mark Wahlberg’s direction.

Wahlberg plays a college lecturer with a high-stake gambling problem, who happens to have got himself in deep with Michael K. Williams’ gangster.

With his life on the line, the only option as he sees it is to gamble his way back into profit, attempting to play Williams off against the operator of a prominent betting ring…
