World of Warcraft lead designer Ion Hazzikostas will be present at Sydney's pre-launch event for a Q&A session with fans.

Blizzard Entertainment Australia and New Zealand has announced plans for its Sydney pre-launch party celebrating the release of the next World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor.

From October 14 at 2pm AEDT fans will be able to sign up to grab free tickets to the event which is being hosted in Sydney on the evening of October 23. World of Warcraft lead designer Ion Hazzikostas will be present for a Q&A session with attendees. Tickets are limited to two per person and there will be limited spots available. Fans can grab them here when they become available.

Warlords of Draenor is the fifth expansion for World of Warcraft, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this November (Blizzard is holding special anniversary in-game events, too). The expansion launches November 13, and introduces new zones and raises the level cap to 100. For more on the game, check out our preview.
