Indian filmmakers appeal to torrent site over piracy

Numerous hurdles and obstacles is a staple in a filmmaker’s career which he or she breaks through to release their art. However, it is not so surpring to watch such gritty artists stand powerless in front of daunting online piracy sites. 

Recently, filmmakers have begun to seek and request such site’s ‘adjustment’ and ‘help’ to save their films. Young director Vignesh Shivn opened the year with a commendable outing in ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ which is touted to be the year’s first super hit. 

The director had taken to his social page to share his message with the notorious Tamil Rockers to not release his film in addition to Vikram’s‘Sketch’ and Prabhu Deva’s ‘Gulaebhagavali’ as well. It's also worth mentioning here that Tamil Rockers heeded to the requests of 'Chennai2Singapore' and 'Aruvi' teams earlier.
